it is very nearly all original, with the exception of the black matte paintwhich was originally lime green to match the inside. i put in $2300 in repairsto it including pulling the engine and replacing gaskets to stop an oil leak,then they cleaned the engine and repainted it. also replaced some exhaust linesafter finding a couple holes which leaked into the passenger area. put in a newheater, replaced a bunch of window seals and fixed up some of the upholstry, andfinally rebuilt the starter. it runs great after a few minutes of warming up,

Also, it also is missing the blue cloth headliner. This isa 38 year old Olds Cutlass Brougham Coupe 1 owner vehicle. My husband Marc & Ipurchased this Cutlass on October 1, 1978 from John Deery Motors in Cedar Falls,Iowa. It was ordered out from the Oldsmobile Factory in Lansing Michigan exactlythe way we wanted it. It has 62,600 MILES Actual Miles. Thataverages 1,647 miles per year. When running this Cutlass it got over35 miles on per gallon on Interstate HWY TRIPS with the Diesel engine. The second engineis out of a1979 Buick Electra 225. It is 6.5 Liter 403 Cubic Inch Old.

I bought this car from areputable dealer. The car has the original drive trainexcept for the 4 speed which is period correct and he carburator. It has a 400ci engine with 365 hp. The car was restored years ago by the previous owner andis still in great condition. There is no rust, dents, scratches etc. The carstarts right up and does not leak or burn oil. The clutch and center link haveless then 400 miles on them. The chassis is as clean and rust free as the restof the car. The interior is in good condition but could use a little refreshingto make it perfect. To that end I have purchased the following which are stillin the box and come with the car: New door panels (a little worn)New dash pad(discolored by the sun)Rear seat back cover (discolored by the sun) Everythingworks as it should. the top is in great condition as is thewhole car. It has modern radio which is easily replaced (the bezel has not beencut). The car runs and looks great. I will consider a trade (up or down) for thefollowing low mileage vehicles: Mustang GT convertibleCamaro SSR This is an auction there is no buy it now price.
