this is a very nice low mileage Mustang LX with the SSP package. the car wasused by the Santa Clara california District attorneys office for theirundercover as a spare.... unit number 91054.... that isthe reason for the low mileage when sold by the state in 2006. mileage at thattime was approximately 46000 miles. the car was purchased by a gentleman incanada who had a bare metal respray as well as refurbishing the interior withnos seating materials, etc. i do have two large binders with pictures anddetails of the work he had done at that time. the car was unmarked and thus noextra opening were cut into the body for for lights, antennas, etc. the car doeshave a red and blue light on the rear package shelf and a magnet light base fora red light behind the passenger side sun visor. the car has a siren andsquawker speaker in place as well. as the wig wag light system. these systemsare inoperable but can be easily brought back to use for shows or personaldisplay!!! there is a non-working radio head below the regular am-fm radio. thewiring for the radio system is still in place to the trunk and is hidden beneaththe carpet... the car is in very good condition and runs and drives extremelywell. tires are goodrich t/a radials with the white lettering turned to theinside. i bought a set of refinished ten hole wheels for the car and had theminstalled on the car. the ac works well and the heater core does not leak. thepassenger door electric lock will not lock. there is a small amount of paintspidering on the drivers side bumpe. 1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible with just 64,419 documented miles! Verynice original condition overall. This was a one owner Mustang for most of itslife and that owner took the Mustang from Connecticut to Florida. Ford producedjust 492 LX 5.0 Convertibles in 1991 with the Titanium Frost (YX) paint. It is agreat color with the factory wheels. Mechanics: This Mustang is runningexcellent! Everything works except for the small drivers side back window hastrouble going up and down. It works with assistance but it will need repaired. The Air Conditioning is working! The power convertible top works great! Itstarts, stops, shifts and drives very nice! It has great power and performance. The engine is running smooth and quiet. It does appear to have a newer exhaustand has a nice rumble (not loud, just very nice). All lights are working! Allgauges appear to be working normally! Body: NO RUST on the body or underside ofthis Mustang! The body is very original and straight overall. There is somepaint fading on the hood and upper passenger side fender and on the trunk lid. There are various nicks and dings around the car but overall it presents verywell. The convertible top appears to be newer and is in great condition. Thewheels are in good condition with no curb rash issues. The FORD factory VINtakes are present on the front nose panel, drivers fender, hood, both doors,trunk, etc.... There is no VIN decal on the passenger fender indicating that ithas likely been painted in the past. Interior: The interior is very nice! Nocracks in the dash and other panels. The seats are solid and nice. The driversseat has power lumbar that works. Overall the interior needs some cleaning butnothing more than that. There is a new Alpine CDA-9851 Radio with CD/MP3 and i. 1977 ford Mustang II Cobra II V8 4bbl Edelbrock carb and dual exhaust with 72koriginal miles. Have title to document it. A good running daily driver thatlooks and runs good. For sure has a few quirks and issues for a 40 year old car. I purchased this carwith 58k on it and have been using it as a daily driver in the summer for thelast 4 years. It does burn some oil and smokes a little bit at times. and idlesa little rough at times as well (always suspected a vacuum leak that I couldnever find. When I bought it I had done all the tune up stuff plugs, wires etcbrakes etc... It has been a very reliable and safe car. Suspension is tight withno squeaks and or rattles. Steers and handles well. Drives straight, stop andhandles very well. The transmission will delay going into gear on occasion inthe colder weather only for a few seconds though. shifts okay at every othertime. The paint is shiny but aged and has blisters and cracks in a few places. Rear bumper has cracks at both corners. The stripe decals are pealing from theroof. Passenger door bottom is rusted on inside. Radiatorsupport bottom is rusted which I know is common. Frame and floors are solid. Speedometer will stick on on 0 on occasion but only for a minute or two. Allother gauges work properly. Headliner, rugs,dash are all in good shape. 14 inchtires, wheels replaced about 10k miles ago. Please keep in mind that this a 40year old car. I have tried my best to describe it properly. It is a great carbut please be understanding that it needs a lot of work to be perfect. I will gladly answer anyquestions.
